تيسير دياب هو كاتب سوري والأول في القلمون السوري نشأ وترعرع في دمشق من مواليد 1950 عاش حياتاً حافلة وبدأ الكتابة في سن الأربعين وله عدة كتب توثيقية وتاريخية لمحافظة ريف دمشق ومن هذه الكتب : القباب البيض_ رجال من القلمون_ حكايات من القلمون والكثير من الكتب وأشهرها أغاني من التراث الشعبي وقراءة في دفتر النسوان الشامي .

يتحدث الكتاب عن خمسين قرية منظومة كاللؤلؤ في جيد القلمون منها مايغفو هانئاً في وديان ساحرة ومنها ما ارتقى ليتكأ على سفوح آمنة ومنها ما تطاول ليعتلي القمم الشامخة .
هذا هو القلمون خزان بشري هائل وطبيعة ساحرة تاريخ عريق وحضارة متجددة فيه تجلى سحر الشرق وجماله وفي ربوعه نشأت الأساطير وعبدت الآلهة وانتشرت الديانات السماوية وعلى أرضه اصطرعت مختلف المدنيات خلفت أوابد تحكي قصة الإنسان على أراضي القلمون قبل التاريخ وبعده اهتمت به روما عندما بسطت سلطانها على سوريا فمدت بسواعد أبنائه طرقاً ظلت حتى وقت قريب شرايين الحياة التجارية والعسكرية وأقامت عليها قلاعاً وحصوناً لتأمين مرور القوافل المحملة بالذهب والصمغ وعود الند واللآلئ الحرير.
