أنا لا أفتري ولا أدّعي محض باطل.. لستُ المهدي ولا سليل النبي، ولا أدّعي أني الإله أو ابنه، أو جئت من ماء السَّماء.. أنا الوجع المصابر في مغاور جرحي المكابر.. قوة الحق اذا الباطل طغى، والأمان إذا فخخ الظالمون دروب الباحثين عن وطن.
أنا الجُرح العنيد، والعناد الأشد في وجه فرعون الإله.. أنا "اللاءات" كلها، والرفض المستميت في وجه الفرعنة.. أقتاتُ جرحي دون ذلة أو سؤال.. اتفيّأ الشمس المطلّة من شماريخ الجبال.. إذا دهري تآكل، وأحزاني بلغت مداها، فما زال شبابي يضج بعنفوانه، ويقدح ناراً ونوراً في وجه الدجى وأشباح الظلام.
ربّما يبكيني جائع، ويذلنّي محتاج عزيز النفس، ولكنّي أرفض الكون إذا زيفهُ يريد إخضاعنا، أو إرغامنا على أن نعبد تيجانه.. أرفض الفيزياء التي تكفّر من يخوض في علمها، أو تستبدل الحقيقة ببنت عمها.. أنا كافر في وجه الجوع الذي يريد إذلالنا.. كافر في وجه استلاب الوعي وتدجين البشر.. صرخة في وجه قدري اطلقها كالقذيفة: لا وألف لا.
