عمل في الكونغو تحت قيادة هيئة الأمم عام 1960
ملحق عسكري في لندن 1962-1963م
أحيل إلى المعاش بعدها ليتفرغ للتأليف
أصدر ما يزيد عن مئة كتاب بين تأليف وترجمة عن الفرنسية والإنكليزية منها:
فن الحرب الإسلامي: خمسة أجزاء
جيش العدوان الصهيوني
الحرب والحضارة
