تُثير الرواية الكثير من الإشكاليات حول مصداقية الدرس التاريخي الذي تعلمناه ذلك الذي مزج التاريخ بالخرافة بالأيدولوجيا التي واكبت كتابة هذا التاريخ، وتضعه على مائدة الحوار العقلاني الذي يخلو من الرومانسية المفرطة، وتأتي جرأة الطرح في مواجهة حقيقية تؤكد الرواية أنها كتبت علي طريقة تزييف التاريخ.
