هاني فتحي سليمان: تخرَّج في قسم اللغة الإنجليزية بكلية التربية عام ١٩٩٩م. خلال حياته المهنية في مجال الترجمة ترجم وراجع أكثر من ٦٠ كتابًا إلى اللغة العربية. من بين كتبه المترجمة التي حقَّقت أعلى المبيعات ونشرتها «مكتبة جرير»: «ماجستير في إدارة الأعمال في يوم واحد»، و«يمكنك أن تتواصل»، و«آراء فينر في القيادة»، و«الثروة التلقائية».

Book Description
شابة إنجليزية ثرية تُدعى «آيريس» قضت إجازةً في فندق صغير في مكانٍ ناءٍ بأوروبا برفقة أصدقائها، الذين تركوها بعد ذلك مُستقِلين القطار المتجه إلى مدينة «ترييستي» الإيطالية. في البداية شعرت «آيريس» بالارتياح لرحيلهم؛ نظرًا لما كانوا يُسبِّبونه من إزعاج، لكنها سرعان ما بدأت تفتقدهم. وبعد أن خرجت في نزهةٍ طويلة سَيرًا على الأقدام وضلَّت طريقها وسط الجبال، قرَّرت أن تغادر هي الأخرى. استقلَّت قطارًا مزدحمًا، وعلى متن القطار وجدت نفسها بجانب امرأةٍ تُدعى السيدة «فروي». تبادلتا أطراف الحديث، وعلِمت «آيريس» من السيدة «فروي» أنها معلمة لأبناء أحد زعماء المُعارَضة المُنتمي إلى الحزب الشيوعي. وبعد أن تناولتا الغداء معًا، تناولت «آيريس» أقراصًا مُسكنةً لتتغلَّب على وجعٍ ألمَّ برأسها ثم غَفَت، لكنها عندما أفاقت لم تجدالسيدة «فروي»، ووجدت أن جميع مَن كانوا على متن القطار يُصِرون على أنه لم يكن ثَمة وجودٌ للسيدة «فروي» من الأساس. فما السر وراء اختفاء السيدة «فروي»؟ وهل ستتمكن «آيريس» من العثور عليها قبل أن يُصيبها مكروهٌ ما؟ هذا ما سنعرفه من خلال قراءة هذه القصة المثيرة، التي حوَّلها المخرج الإنجليزي الشهير «ألفريد هيتشكوك» إلى فيلمٍ سينمائيٍّ بعنوان «اختفاء السيدة».
