منذ زمانا ً بعيداً أرتبط مفهوم العبقرية بمُسميَ الذكاء والقدرة علي التحصيل الدراسي ، إلا أن هذا المفهوم الذي قد ترسخ في أذهاننا إلى هذا اليوم غير صحيح بالمرة .......!
ولماذا العجب من هذا الكلام ، فهذه الحقيقة سوف نؤكدها في ذلك الكتاب المتواضع ، فنحن لن نتطرق لسيرة عبقري أو مخترع ما بالتحديد وإنما قد سلطنا الضوء علي بعض المواضيع الهامة التي تخص العبقرية . وهذا هو ما قدمناه بالفعل في الفصل الأول ، أما الفصل الثاني فهو يتحدث عن بعض مواقف ومقولات للعباقرة ، كما ذكرنا لكم نهاياتهم العجيبة والفريدة من نوعها ، أما الفصل الأخير فيتحدث عن عباقرة الأطفال وعباقرة المصريين ، هذا بالإضافة إلي أننا قد زودنا الكتاب بملحق خاص بأسماء العباقرة الأجانب والمصريين وإنجازاتهم وإكتشافاتهم التي غيرت مجري العلم والبشرية أيضا ً، لكي يستطيع القاريء العزيز أن يتعرف عليهم . وهذا الملحق عبارة عن قاموس مرتب هجائي لمساعدة القاريء والباحث للوصول إلي المعلومة بدقة ويسر .
وأخيرا ًندعو الله أن يحقق الكتاب نوعا ًمن المعرفة لدى القارئ المثقف .
