قدرُ المرايا أنْ تُكسَرَ.
يحطّمها المرهقون من الحقيقة بقبضةٍ واحدةٍ، فتتحوّل إلى شظايا ملطّخة بالدّماءِ؛ تتناثرُ جارحةً الكذبَ.
لكنَّ مرايا "شمس" مختلفة، مراياها تُخفي اللّيلَ، تلتهم الظّلمةَ، تَدفنُ البردَ، تُدثّرُ الوهمَ، وتعكسهُ ورديّا كما تُحبّهُ، جميلًا كما تتمنّاهُ، مناسبًا، على مقاسِ قلبها تمامًا.
لذلكَ، لن تمتدّ يدها أبدًا لكسر المرآةِ.
ستطمئنُّ عليها كأنّها اِبنتها الثّانيةُ، وتحفظها بقلبها.
