Book Description
تَذَكَّرتُ لَيلى وَالسِنينَ الخَوالِيا
وَأَيّامَ لا نَخشى عَلى اللَهوِ ناهِيا
بِثَمدَينِ لاحَت نارَ لَيلى وَصَحبَتي
بِذاتِ الغَضا تَزجي المَطِيَّ النَواجِيا
فَقالَ بَصيرُ القَومِ أَلمَحتُ كَوكَبًا
بَدا في سَوادِ اللَيلِ فَردًا يَمانِيا
فَقُلتُ لَهُ بَل نارَ لَيلى تَوَقَّدَت
بِعَليا تَسامى ضَوؤُها فَبَدا لِيا
فَلَيتَ رِكابَ القَومِ لَم تَقطَعِ الغَضا
وَلَيتَ الغَضى ماشى الرِكابَ لَيالِيا
فَقُلتُ وَلَم أَملِك لِعَمروِ بنِ مالِكٍ
أَحتَفٌ بِذاتِ الرَقمَتَينِ بَدا لِيا
تَبَدَّلتِ مِن جَدواكِ يا أُمَّ مالِكٍ
وَساوِسَ هَمٍّ يَحتَضِرنَ وِسادِيا
فَإِنَّ الَّذي أَمَّلتَ مِن أُمِّ مالِكٍ
أَشابَ قَذالي وَاِستَهامَ فُؤادِيا
فَلَيتَكُمُ لَم تَعرِفوني وَلَيتَكُم
تَخَلَّيتُ عَنكُم لا عَلَيَّ وَلا لِيا
خَليلَيَّ إِن بانوا بِلَيلى فَقَرِّبا
لِيَ النَعشَ وَالأَكفانَ وَاِستَغفِرا لِيا
وَخُطّا بِأَطرافِ الأَسِنَّةِ مَضجَعي
وَرُدّوا عَلى عَينَيَّ فَضلَ رِدائِيا
وَلا تَحسِداني بارَكَ اللَهُ فيكُما
مِنَ الأَرضِ ذاتِ العَرضِ أَن توسِعا لِيا
فَيَومانِ يَومٌ في الأَنيسِ مُرَنَّقٌ
وَيَومَ أُباري الرائِحاتِ الجَوارِيا
