هذه الحلقات تصف رحلتي الأولى للشام، وتعبر وتصف شعوري واحساسي الاول لرؤيتي لهذه البلاد، والحديث عما جرى لي في هذه الزيارة والتي تلتها زيارات أخرى لكنها كانت لزيارات العمل أقرب.
هذه الشام جار عليها الظالمون في الفترة الأخيرة كثيراً، وتكالبت عليها كلاب الدنيا بلا استثناء، فعاثت فيها فساداً وتخريباً وتدميراً، فقتلوا ودمروا وهجروا، فتحولت الشام لؤلؤة الشرق وجوهرتها إلى خراب ودمار، وهذا قدر الشام يعدو عليها الحاسدون والحاقدون والهمج وأعداء الحضارة، ثم ما تلبث أن تنهض من جديد، فلك الله يا شام
دعائي من الله أن يجد القارئ فيها متعته وفائدته، وأن يجعلها الله في ميزان حسناتي.
