ماهر أسعد بكر, معروف كذاك بـ ماهر بكر, هو موسيقي، فنان مؤثرات بصرية، مصمم جرافيك، مبرمج ومؤلف. ولد ماهر في دمشق، الجمهورية العربية السورية، وهو المؤسس والرئيس التنفيذي لفريق Solav.me.
بدأ ماهر حياته المهنية في عام 1997 بحلم أن يصبح أحد الفنانين المشهورين في العالم.
درس ماهر في جامعة دمشق، وتوقف عن الدراسة، وبدأ حياته المهنية في صناعة التصميم الجرافيكي و التأثيرات البصرية، شارك ماهر في العديد من أشكال الإنتاج من المؤثرات البصرية ، إلى صناعة الإعلانات و إخراج الأفلام القصيرة, أسس فريقه الخاص الذي نما وشارك على نطاق واسع في العديد من المشاريع.

أنا الصوتُ الذي نسيَه الزمنُ دونَ أن ينطفئَ، همسةٌ خرجتْ من ترابٍ قديمٍ، عبرتْ بينَ المعابدِ المنهارةِ والسنابلِ التي تنحني للريحِ لا خوفًا بل حنينا.
هذا الكتابُ ليسَ تاريخًا ولا أسطورةً، بل رجفةُ الذاكرةِ حينَ تفتحُ عينَيها على ما كانَ قبلَ أن يبدأَ الزمنُ… وقبلَ أن نسمي.
هنا، تبدأُ سوريا كما لم تُرَ من قبل.
بعلٌ وعناتٌ، أرما شيلونَ ودمشقُ، مدنٌ تنبضُ في الطينِ، وآلهةٌ تسكنُ في الصوتِ الذي نحملهُ ولا نعرفُ مصدرَه.
ستدخلُ عالمًا من النسيانِ المقدسِ، حيثُ المدنُ ليستْ مواقعَ، بل مشاعرَ منسيةً، وحيثُ القارئُ لا يتلقى… بل يستعيد.
لا تبحثْ هنا عن بدايةٍ أو نهايةٍ، بل عن انعكاسِك في مرآةِ الحكايةِ، حينَ يلامسُك حجرٌ يتكلمُ، أو صمتٌ يحفظُ اسمَك الأول.
اقرأْها لا لتعرفَ، بل لتتذكر.
لعلَّ هذه الكلماتِ قد كتبتْ لكَ… دونَ أن تدري.
