أبو الوليد الباجي (403 - 474 هـ = 1012 - 1081 م)
سليمان بن خلف بن سعد التجيبي القرطبي، أبو الوليد الباجي: فقيه مالكي كبير، من رجال الحديث.
أصله من بطليوس [ Badajoz ] ومولده في باجة [ Beja ] بالاندلس.
رحل إلى الحجاز سنة 426 هـ، فمكث ثلاثة أعوام.
وأقام ببغداد ثلاثة أعوام، وبالموصل عاما، وفي دمشق وحلب مدة.
وعاد إلى الاندلس، فولي القضاء في بعض أنحائها.
وتوفي بالمرية [ Almeria ] .
من كتبه (السراج في علم الحجاج) و (إحكام الفصول، في أحكام الاصول - خ) منه نسخة في مجلد ضخم، في خزانة القرويين بفاس، كتبت سنة 681 ه (الرقم 40 / 621) و (التسديد إلى معرفة التوحيد) و (اختلاف الموطآت) و (شرح فصول الاحكام، وبيان ما مضى به العمل من الفقهاء والحكام - خ) و (الحدود) و (الاشارة - خ) رسالة في أصول الفقه، و (فرق الفقهاء) و (المنتقى - ط) كبير، في شرح موطأ مالك و (شرح المدونة) و (التعديل والتجريح لمن روى عنه البخاري في الصحيح)
