ولد ببغداد سنة 1956، أكمل الدراسه الأعداديه سنة 1974وألتحق بالكليه العسكريه العراقيه التي تخرج منها برتبة ملازم سنة 1977،وفي سنة 1991وبعد حرب الكويت أحيل على التقاعد لأسباب سياسيه برتبة مقدم ، فأنتظم بالدراسه بمعهد التاريخ العربي لدراسة الماجستير سنة 1996،
باحث في التاريخ الاسلامي ،نشر في مكتبة نور ( لحد الآن) أكثر من خمسة وعشرين كتاباً في التأريخ الأسلامي لفتره صدر الاسلام وما تلاها في سلسلة سماها "نساء في بيوت النور" تسلط الضوء على سيرة خمس عشرة سيده لهن دور مهم في أحداث عصورهن .
وبدأ مؤخرا بالبحث والكتابه في سلسلة جديده بأسم " دهاة العرب في الأسلام " يتناول فيها سيرة وأعمال أشهر من عرف بالدهاء من السياسيين في صدر الأسلام .

كتاب يتناول سيرة أحد القاده العرب المسلمين في مرحلة صدر الاسلام وهو زياد بن ابيه الذي ولد بالطائف ولم تسجل له صحبه ،وعمل لمختلف الخلفاء وأنتهى به المطاف دعياً لأبي سفيان وأميرا على العراق ومات بالكوفه سنة53 للهجره .
