رواية من الادب الواقعى تحكى الواقع السياسى والاجتماعى لمصر من قيام ثورة 1952 وحتى ثورة 25 يناير 2011 من خلال احد البيوت المملوكة لشخص مهاجر الى اوربا من ابناء احدى الاسر الاقطاعية ويقوم بحراسة البيت وصيانته احد اصدقائه من مقاتلى حرب اكتوبر ويتصارع على البيت عمدة القرية ومهندس مرتشى بمشاركة عضو مجلس الشعب عن الدائرة ويطمع الاخوان المسلمين فى الاستيلاء على البيت لاستثماره وجعله مقر لهم على جزء منه وتطمع الاقباط فى ضمه للكنيسة المجاورة وفى مضمار الاحداث تقع جريمة قتل لاحدى صبايا القرية وتتطور الصراعات العامة والخاصة حتى قيام ثورة يناير 2011
