ومن خلال هذه الكلمات المكتوبة في رثاء الأحباب، تجمعت صفحات كثيرة، أصحابها من الشرق والغرب ومن العرب وغير العرب ومن المسلمين وغير المسلمين ومن أهل البلد الفلسطينيين وغيرهم، ومن المعاصرين لي وغير المعاصرين.
فلما نظرت في هذا الكم الكثير من الكلمات والأوراق، ومن باب الوفاء لأصحابها قررت أن أجمعها في كتاب مستقل حفظا لذكراهم بين الأجيال، فهؤلاء هم خير قدوة للناس وعلى الخصوص الشباب منهم، وليتعرف غيرنا على نماذج طيبة من البشر، بمثل هؤلاء ينزل الله الخير والبركات على أهل الأرض.
هؤلاء الذين كتبت عنهم ليسوا هم فقط من كانوا في حياتي، بل هناك غيرهم وما زال في حياتي الكثير من القدوات والأحباب، ولكن هؤلاء من فازوا بأن كتبت عنهم.
والكتاب ليس كله رثاء، بل فيه مقالات لها علاقة بالموت والرحيل والانتحار، وفيه مقالات عن أموات لكنها ليست رثاء، بل هي دراسة وتحليل لحياة هؤلاء والذين بلا شك كان لهم دورا غير طيب في الحياة لهذا كتبت عنه.
الحياة رحلة قصيرة وسريعة والذكي هو من يتركها بذكرى طيبة وسيرة حسنة، يترحم عليه الناس ويتذكرونه بعد موته وغيابه، وكلنا لا بد مغادرون، ولكن لكل أجل كتاب لا يستأخرون ساعة ولا يستقدمون.
رحم الله موتانا جميعا، ووفقنا الله لفعل الخير، حتى نلقى الله على خير.
