في صباحٍ لم يكن يشي بالمأساة، نهض أبي كعادته، ربّاً لتسعة أرواح، يحمل على كتفيه همّ أربعة إخوة وخمس أخوات، ويغادرنا إلى عمله قبل أن يهمس الأذان بنداء الظهر، أيقظنا بنبرةٍ حانية، كأنها وداعٌ لا نعلمه، ثم مضى... ولم يعد.
وفي ذات اليوم، قبل أن تنطفئ شمس الظهيرة، كان جسده الطاهر قد استراح تحت التراب، بينما بقيت روحه معلّقة في وجداننا، ترفرف بين جدران البيت كنسمةٍ لا تُرى، يا له من وجعٍ لا يُقاس، حمله قلبي كجبلٍ لا يلين، كأن الزمن توقف عند تلك اللحظة، وكأن الحياة انكسرت في عينيّ إلى شظايا لا تُجمع.
ذلك اليوم لم يكن يوماً عادياً، بل كان انطفاء النور من نافذة العمر، وكان الحزن فيه لا يُكتب، بل يُنزف.
