رواية اجتماعية نفسية يتمحور موضوعها حول شخص تأثر بأوضاعه الاجتماعية، الفقر والاحباط والخذلان المتكرر من المحيطين به، تحكي الرواية المعاناة التي قد تتسبب في انهيار أخلاقي مفاجئ، غير مدرك صاحبه تماما كيف حدث الانهيار، ونتيجة لظروف صعبة ينشأ في نفسية البطل صراع أخلاقي وهو يحاول ينصف نفسه من الظلم بالتنازل عن بعض مبادئه، وبين ان يتنازل عن نفسه مقابل شراء راحة باله.
الرواية ذات حبكة جميلة وحوارات ممتعة بين شخصيات الرواية.
