ديوان شعري يحتوي على ستّ وعشرين قصيدة تتفاوت من حيث البناء والتشكيل الشذري. كما ضمّ الكتاب الذي تزينه لوحة الشاعر والتشكيلي عزيز أزغاي. وجاء في كلمة الغلاف التي كتبها الشاعر والناقد العراقي علي جعفر العلاق: "يسعى عبد اللطيف الوراري إلى اقتطاف معظم جماليّاته، في هذه القصائد، من حقْلٍ أخذت نصوصنا الحديثة تبتعـد عنه غالباً، وكأنها تجعل من إهمـاله فضيلةً شعرية ومن الجهل به غنىً؛ أعني الإيقاع حين ينبع من عـديـد المصادر: من الـوزن بسيطاً ومركّباً، ومن اللغة باترةً وخفيّة، وأخيراً من انصهار النمطين في تداخلهما الحميم أيضا. بـدءاً من عنوان الغلاف، يحضر الزمن بكثافـةٍ مؤلمـةٍ في هـذه المجموعة. إنّ للمـاضي، وللفقـدان، وللشجـن القـديم حضوراً فاجعاً، وهو ينحدر إلينا، قـديماً ومتجـدّداً، من ينابيعـهِ النضاحـةِ باليتـم الفـرديّ والإنسانيّ: من الأب الجسـديّ الشخصـيّ، نـزولاً إلى آبـاء الفجيعـة الكبار: كلكامـش، المتنبي، المعري، المعتمد بن عبـاد. ومن المتفجعـين أو الساخطـين من الأجيال اللاحقة: نازك الملائكة، أمل دنقل، عبد الله راجع، سركون بولص...". وزاد بقوله: "وعبد اللطيف الـوراري يحاول، دائماً، أن يجازف في الجمع بين ما لا يجمـع إلاّ بمشقـة، أن يأتي إلى الشعـر والنقـد بعُـدّةٍ مزدوجـة: برهافـةٍ لا تربـك انضباطَ الوعي، واستعـدادٍ معرفـيّ لا يجرح وردة الخيال..".
