ستجد في الصفحات أيضًا وجع الطفولة والبراءة المذبوحة في الذئب والطفلة، وصدمة زهرة الخزامى التي تمزج الحب بالخيانة والنهاية المأساوية، ثم قصة العنوان دموع تائهة التي تفتح باب التوبة في لحظة سجود خالدة، وأخيرًا ثلاثون يومًا قبل تقديم استقالتي، حيث يسقط بطلها بين الانتحار والفلسفة في مواجهة قاسية مع ذاته.
