لا أحتاج مقهى مزدحمًا ولا شرفة مطلة على البحر كي أكتب؛ يكفيني أن أغمض عيني، وأترك عتمة الليل تفتح أبوابها لي.
فلماذا القصص؟ ببساطة… لأنني أؤمن أن خلف كل حلم قصةً، ووراء كل كابوس سرًّا، وأن كل قارئ يستحق أن يتذوق طعم تلك الهيبة الممتعة؛ الرهبة التي تجعلك تغلق الكتاب لثوانٍ مرتعشة… ثم تفتحه بسرعة لتعرف: ماذا سيحدث بعدها؟
وهذه يا عزيزي القارئ ليست مجرد حكاية واحدة… إنها تلك الشعلة الأولى لسلسلة من القصص القصيرة.
فتذكروا اسمي جيدًا: النائمة لوتس.
