ليلى طفلة صغيرة في الخامسة من عمرها، وتحبّ ركوب درّاجة بعجلتين مثل إخوتها الكبار. لكنّ لا أحد يسمح لها بذلك، لأنّ الدرّاجة بعجلتين هي فقط لمن لديه القدرة على موازنتها، وليس للصّغار. ليلى ملّت من درّاجتها ذات العجلات الثلاث، فقرّرت أن تأخذ درّاجة جارتها وهي بعجلتين. ركبتها وانطلقت من أعلى المرتفع نزولاً، وبأقصى سرعتها... صارت السرعة تزيد أكثر فأكثر، وليلى ليست قادرة على التحكّم بالدرّاجة، ولا حتى إيقافها. حتى ارتطمت بجانب الطريق دون أن تتأذى ليلى. تمكّن الجيران من إنقاذها، وعندها تعلّمت ليلى درساً لن تنساه، أنّ علينا الرضى بإمكاناتنا وقدراتنا، دون المغامرة في بطولات غير مضمونة.
