هذا كتابٌ كتبته بعد أن نظرتُ في حال الأمة، فأبكاني ما رأيتُه من تبدّلِ المفاهيم، وانقلابِ الفِطر، وضياعِ كثيرٍ من القيم التي كانت ذات يومٍ سببًا في عزتنا ومنعتنا.
رأيتُ كيف أصبحت الغيرة عند الرجال تهمة بالرجعية، وكيف صار الحياء في النساء ضعفًا وانهزامًا في زمن الانفتاح، وكيف غزا الاختلاط ديار المسلمين بلباس "التحرر"، حتى ذابت الفروق، وانهارت الحدود، وابتُذلت الأنثى، وتخنّث الذكر، وتسلّطت الشهوات.
وإن من أعظم ما يفتكُ بالمجتمع المسلم أن يموت الحياء في المرأة، وأن تغيب الغيرة في الرجل، فإذا فُقدت هاتان السمتان، ذهبت الغيرة من البيوت، وسقطت الحواجز بين الحلال والحرام، وانهدم جدار العفّة، فتسرّب الفساد شيئًا فشيئًا حتى يستحكم.
هذا الكتاب دعوة صادقة لنعيدَ إلى الحياء هيبته، وإلى الغيرة مكانتها، وإلى الالتزام بدين الله روحه وهدفه، دعوة لنكشف زيفَ "الحرية" التي لا تعرف الحلال والحرام، ولنحذر من الدياثة التي غزت العقول قبل أن تدخل البيوت، ولنبيّن كيف أن العلاقة المحرمة –في الواقع أو على الشاشات– لم تكن يومًا طريقًا إلى الطهر ولا إلى السعادة.
