حرم الأسد: رواية تقطع الأنفاس بإيقاعها, وبما تمر به من أحداث, يعرضها الروائي بلغة سردية حالمة ومدهشة, حيث يتتابع السرد دون توقف, وبرشاقة دون بذخ إنشائي فائض عن حاجة النص .
وما بين الوقائع في المحيط الموضوعي, وبين ما يدور في رأس بطلة النص من أحلام رومانسية, تصل إلى حدود الوهم, وخلط الواقع بالمتخيل, بما يشبه الهذيان أحيانا, يتكيء النص على واقعة حقيقية ونص متخيل تماما, يفترض شيئا غير ما هو متحقق في الواقع, ليذهب بمقولة الرواية إلى أفق التحريض على الواقع, استنادا لما يجب أن يكون عليه من مثال .
وتعرض الرواية أحلام جيل عربي بكامله, جيل ستينيات القرن الماضي, الذي كان رومانسيا يحلم بالحب العابر للحدود العربية, وذلك من خلال قصة حب تربط بين شاب سوري وفتاة مصرية, التقيا في آخر ستينيات القرن الماضي, لكن تسلسل الأحداث التي جعلت من وحدة الخندق عام 1973 بين مصر وسوريا منصة أطلقت حلم الحبيبين بالارتباط والزواج, سرعان ما تصطدم بالجدار, بعد سلسلة من الأحداث اللاحقة لتجعل منه أمرا مستحيلا.
وكأي فتاة شرقية حالمة, تتمسك الفتاة بحبها, فيما يواصل هو طريقه نحو السلطة, إلى أن يجيء يوم تفكر فيه الفتاة في اقتحام المحظور, بمخاطبة الرئيس السوري, مباشرة وبكل بساطة.
ولأن بين الحكام والمواطنين في بلادها أسوار وأسوار, تكتشف الفتاة بأن الحياة الشخصية في بلادها أمر لا يخصها وحدها, بل تصنعه السياسة المستبدة, لكنها في النهاية تصل إلى الرجل الذي أحبته حبا جعلها تعجز عن الارتباط برجل آخر غيره, لتكتشف في نهاية المطاف بأن الحياة الخاصة, محكومة بجملة من عوالم الاستبداد التي يختلط فيها موروث الاستبداد الشرقي بنظام حكم الفرد المستبد أيضا .
