جنى الثمار الكاتب طاغور
تحتوي مجموعة "جنى الثمار" لطاغور ستاً وثمانين مقطوعة نشرها بالإنكليزية عام 1916، وهي في حقيقتها مختارات إنتقاها طاغور من مؤلفاته السابقة التي كان قد نشرها إبتداءً من عام 1886 حتى عام 1916، أي في مرحلة نيّفت على الربع قرن. لذا، لم تكن مجموعة " جنى الثمار " كتاباً جديداً أضافه طاغور إلى مؤلفاته، بل كانت إصداراً باللغة الإنكليزية لنصوص ظهرت باللغة البغالية من قبل. ولعل في عنوان الكتاب إشارة ضمنية إلى مضمونه، فالكتاب "جنى " أي قطاف، من " ثمار "، أي مؤلفات طاغور السابقة، وهذا ما ذكره طاغور في النص الأول من كتابه: " مُرني أجنِ ثماري للأحملها في سلال ملأى إلى فناء دارك، مع أن بعضها تلف، وبعضها غير ناضج، فالموسم مُثقل عند يناعه، والبستان أعطى كل ذاته ...". وكون الكتاب مختارات من كتب سابقة يُثير قضيتين على الأقل، تتعلق أولاهما بمبدأ التمثيل، والثانية بمبدأ الوحدة. وبالنسبة إلى التمثيل، يُفترض أن يكون طاغور قد إختار لكتابه " جنى الأثمار " نصوصاً تُمثِّل خصائص مذهبه الفني والفكري العامة، وعليه ، يمكننا إعتبار " جنى الثمار " نظاماً فنياً وفكرياً أصغر يُمثل النظام الفني والفكري الأكبر الكائن في مؤلفات طاغور كلها، ومن هنا تأتي أهمية " جنى الثمار " فهو عالم أصغر يُتيح لقارئه الإطلاع على عالم طاغور الأكبر، وإن ضمن إطار محدد. إن كتاب " جنى الثمار " يتضمن نواة رؤية طاغور الشاملة، على الأقل حتى عام 1916، عام صدور الكتاب.
