(لقد كانت ليلة أمس ليلية تجلي ظهرَ على ظهرِ البحيرة ذلك البناء).
وهكذا بذر في باطن عقلي بذور الحكاية والتي استقامة بعدها شجرة أحداث قَطفتُ منها هذه الرواية.
ومنهم عم (عوض) صياد البحيرة والذي طالت بنا مجالس الحديث فحكيت عنه كل ما ذكرت هنا من علوم البحيرة، والصيد، والمنحِ والمنع وشح العطاء.
ومنهم رجال الجمال (الجمالة) الذين حملوني معهم غير مرة من (ابو سمبل حتى المنفذ البري) والعكس فحكيت عنهم: عن الجمال وجلبتها، سوقها، ومراعيها في الجنوب.
واخيرا نعم يوجد بهذا العمل الكثير مما هو حقيقة وكذا الخيال.
أترك هذا الإدراك للقارئ.اما أنا فأبقيه مفتوحا لكل الاحتمالات.
لان هذه الحكاية حكاية عابرين فلتبقي اذن مع العابرين.
