الرواية بتدور جوّه مصنع غامض، بس هو مش مكان رعب بس لا، ده مكان بيكشّف اللي جوّه البشر.
مصنع اتعملت فيه تجارب غيّرت شكل الإنسان، واستغلّت خصائص الوطاويط العلمية: الدم، الذاكرة، والقدرة على البقاء.
العلماء كانوا فاكرين إنهم بيطوّروا البشرية، لكن اللي حصل إن البشر اتحوّلوا لهجائن، وبتظهر الأجنحة السبعة… مش أسطورة، دي مراحل وتجارب، كل جناح ليه وظيفة وثمنه دم.
ومع كل خطوة، السؤال يكبر:إحنا بننجّي الإنسان؟ ولا بنمسخُه؟
الشخصيات مش أبطال خارقين، كل واحد داخل المصنع شايل وجعه، وخوفه، وحاجات عمره ما واجهها.
المكان بيضغط عليهم واحدة واحدة، ويجبرهم يشوفوا نفسهم من غير أقنعة.
وفي النص، طفل داون بريء وجوده لوحده بيقلب المعادلة كلها، ويخلّي السؤال الحقيقي يطلع:
مين الوحش فعلًا… اللي اتشوّه؟ ولا اللي لسه فاكر نفسه إنسان؟
الرواية مليانة معلومات علمية حقيقية عن الوطاويط، ومربوطة بأماكن موجودة فعلًا في العالم، مش خيال فاضي.
غموض نفسي، حبكة تقيلة، وأسئلة عن العلم، والرحمة، وحدود الإنسان…
ولما تدخلها، هتفضل تسأل:
إيه علاقة الأجنحة السبعة بدم البشر؟
مين اللي اختفى؟ وإيه حكاية التابوت؟
وهل النجاة فعلًا في الهروب… ولا في مواجهة الحقيقة؟
