تدور أحداثها في منطقة اللوا في سورية، جنوب دمشق، وتتحدث عن الفساد الذي ينخر المجتمع، وحلم قرية الراكضة لبناء جسر فوق وادي اللوا الذي يشكل سبخة بين الطريق السريع بين العاصمة والسويداء فتحجز القرية خلال شهور الشتاء، وتتفق الإرادات المتضادة على تنفيذ الجسر بشكل خاطئ، لا تنفع معه مناشدات النجار الذي يبني الجسر بإعادة الأسبار كيف لا تطوف المياه فوق سطح الجسر.
