تتناول أحداث رواية (جسد وجسد) عنفوان العلاقة الجسدية بين شاب في مقتبل العمر هو (قطب) الذي تربى تربية دينية شديدة التحفّظ، ثم ترك بيته في القرية ليقيم في بيت بالأجرة في المدينة، حيث يتعرّف على امرأة غجرية متسوّلة هي (سماح)عندما تطرق عليه الباب، ويفتح لها. وتنشأ بينهما علاقة جسدية، حيث يتعرّف قطب لأول مرة على تفاعلات هذه العلاقة الجسدية، ونتعرّف كذلك على عالم الحياة الغجرية. ثم حكاية ثانية تقع مع صديقه (فؤاد) الذي يروي له تفاصيل علاقته بـ (كلوديا) التي يتعرّف عليها مصادفة عند طبيب الأسنان. وفي الحكايتين نحن إزاء امرأتين حُرمتا من الحب الحقيقي الزوجي، وشابَين يكتشفا هذه العلاقة لأول ومرّة ويندفعا إليها. لكن هل يمكن للعلاقة الجسدية أن تتحوّل إلى علاقة حب حقيقية قويّة؟ هذا ما تطرحه رواية (جسد وجسد).
