قصة جبل العجائب تأليف نظمي لوقا، ثلاث من الأخوة يتيمات تمنين كل واحد منهن أمنية وهى الزواج كل واحدة على ما تبتغى ولكن مطلب الفتاة الصغيرة كان هو الزواج من الملك نفسه، وفي هذه الأثناء كان الملك يزور البلاد متخفياً يتفقد أحوال رعيته وسمع حديث هؤلاء الفتيات، وفى الصباح أرسل الملك إليهن لكى يحقق رغبتهن وبالفعل تحققت رغبتهن ورغبة الفتاة الصغيرة وتزوج الملك منها. لكن هذه ليست النهاية بل من هنا تبدأ المأساة.
