آيا سقيفه بني ساعده و انتخاب ابوبكررضى الله عنه به خلافت، موجب واقعه عاشورا شد؟!!! نویسنده می خواهد در لابلای این كتاب به این سوال پاسخ دهد و جواب این شبهه را بدهد. بر هيچ محققي پوشيده نيست كه احساسات مذهبي دقت كنيد: و نه تفكر و عمل مذهبي در جامعه ايراني بسيار شديد بوده و حكومت در مواقع خطر به خوبي با فشار دادن دگمه مذهب و تحريك مردم، هر گونه صداي حق و فرياد عدالتخواهي يا انتقاد را در نطفه خفه ميكند و علمای شیعه به وسیله این شبهات همه صحابه را طعن و لعن می كنند و در ميان اين عواطف مذهبي، علاقه به امام حسين و واقعه عاشورا از ساير احساسات مذهبي شديدتر است. پس عجيب نيست كه روحانيون، هر اتفاقي از جمله انتخاب ابوبكررضی الله عنه به خلافت را به اين موضوع، مرتبط كنند، مبادا كسي جرات كند بگويد كه اصلا واقعه غدير خم چيز ديگري بوده و خلافت منصوص حضرت علي علیه السلام دروغي بيش نيست
