في أولى خطواتي شاع قلمي بوحا طيبا من قلوبكم، هي كلمات، تعاريف، جمل تتأنق بأحرف أقسمت على صدق قول الحقيقة، و بثها بين الطيات لتحتضنها أناملكم و تتشبع بها عقولهم دفءً، ثم لتعود أدراجها إلى الواقع فتزفرون بتنهيدة عميقة، آهٍ لقد قالت حقا و عبرت صدقا،
سر بسيط اخبركم به:
"أن التنهيدة بقايا بكاء لم يبكى!"
"أن التنهيدة صوت القلب إذا جثا مرهقا لا يسعفه البيان!"
هذا ما عبرت به "وجدان العلي" تعريفا
و بحت به أنا تفصيلا.
هي الحياة بمواضيعها و زواياها، غريب بعضها لا يصدق بين عواطف الآخرين، و بعضها مدهش لم تألفه العقول، و بين هذا وذاك أنس لما استوحش في أنفس الكثير، و حسرة على ما يداريه المتألم، بسمة على شفاه العشاق، و ما أجملها من ذكريات للكثيرين.
إنفلتت مني الكلمات، انتفضت فما عادت المواضيع تقننها، ملأت زوايا الكتاب كأنه الغريم بعد سنين فراق، تلاحمت بسعادة و حزن، خيبة و نجاح، فشل و طموحات لا تمل.
