كتاب عبارة عن بحث مختصر في تخريج حديث الحمام، من سنن أبي داود، وذلك لمارأيته، من رد علي عند استشهادي بالحديث، على حرمة الحمامات، لضعف راووين، في سند الحديث، وهما عبد الرحمان بن زياد بن أنعم الإفريقي وعبد الرحمان بن رافع التنوخي، وللحديث شواهد تزيد علي العشرين وله ماتبعات كثيرة ومدار على الإفريقي وقال عنه الحافظ، ضعيف في حفظه وكان رجلا صالحا، وقال ابن معين، ضعيف لايسقط حديثه وقال مرة يكتب حديثه، وسدا للذريعة ارتأيت أن أنشره، والله المستعان.
