ولقد راعى المؤلف إثناء إعداده لهذا الكتاب سهولة الأسلوب و يسر العبارة ووضوح المعنى ليأتي كتابه في متناول القارئ العادي غير المتخصص في علوم النفس أو التربية. ومع ذلك فالكتاب بعيد عن السطحية، إذ يتناول عملية الإبداع بالشرح والتحليل، واستعرض المراحل التي تمر بها في ذهن المبدع، ويستعرض في ذلك أقوال العلماء ونظرياتهم في تفسير هذه العملية ويقتبس أقوال مشاهير العلماء والمفكرين في كيفية وصولهم إلى قمة الإبداع والابتكار.
ولقد عنى، بصورة خاصة، بالجوانب التطبيقية في مجال الإبداع، ليكون للكتاب قيمة عملية نافعة في التدريب على تنمية السمات الإبداعية في الفرد طفلاً كان أم راشداً كبيراً. وفي هذا الصدد أبرز دور الأسرة والمدرسة والجامعة والمجتمع برمته في تنمية السمات الإبداعية وإظهارها في أكبر عدد ممكن من أبناء مجتمعنا الناهض.
