قال المؤلف في مقدمة الكتاب:
هَذَا مَتْنٌ مُخْتَصَرٌ فِيْ أُصولِ الإِسْلام، إنْتَقَيْتُه مِنْ كِتَابِ اللهِ وَسُنَّةِ رَسُولِه صلى الله عليه وسلم، وَذَلِكَ أَنَّ النَاسَ اليَوْم غَالِبُهُم بَيْنَ مُعْرِضٍ عَنْ دِينِ الله ِبِالجُمْلَةِ وَجَاهِلٍ بِهِ، ثُمَّ الكَثِير مِمَنْ تَرَاهُ يَتَدَيَنُ بِالإسْلامِ لَيَسَ لَهُ مِنْ اِلعِلْمِ فِي دِينِ اللهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ مُجَرَّدُ صَلاةٍ وَصِيَامٍ وَزَكَاةٍ وَحَجٍّ، وَقَد تَجْدْهُ يِفْعَلُ هَذِهِ العِبَادَات، وَهُوَ يَعْتَقِدُ مُعْتَقَدَاً يُنَافِي دِينَ اللهِ كَالأحْزَابِ اللَادِينِيَّةِ، وَهُوَ فِي هَذَا كُلِّه يَظُنُّ نَفْسَهُ مُسْلِمَاً، وَأَنَّهُ بِهَذَا القَدْرِ نَاجٍ مِنَ النَاَرِ.
فَرَأَيْتُ أَنْ أَضَعَ مُخْتَصَرَا لَا تُمَلُّ قِرَائَتُهُ، ِمَّما لا يَسَعُ المُسْلِم جَهْلهُ، وَيَحْتَاجُهُ فِي مُعْتَقَدِهِ وَعَمَلِهِ، إِذْ لا يُقْبَلُ عَمَلٌ بِلا مُعْتَقَد، وَلا يَصُحُّ مُعْتَقَدٌ بِلا عَمَلٍ يُدَلِّلُ عَلَيْهِ.
وحَرَرْتُهُ تَحْرِيرَا بَالِغَاً، مَنْ يَحْفَظْهُ يَحْفَظُ أُصُولَ الإسْلامِ مُحَرَّرَة، وَرَتَبْتُ مَبَاحِثَهُ بِتَنَاسُقٍ يَجْعَلُ كُلَّ مَبْحَثٍ يَرْتَبِطُ بِمَا قَبْلَهُ وَيَتَعَلَّقُ بِالذِي بَعْدَهُ، وَلَمْ أَقْتَصِرَ فِيهِ عَلَى مَبَاحِثِ المُعْتَقَدِ، وََضَعْتُهُ لِلطَالِبِ المُبْتَدِي، والعَاِلِم المُنْتَهِي.
وَمَا أَوْرَدْتُ فِيهِ - بِحَمْدِ اللهِ تَعَالَى - غَيْرَ حَدِيثٍ صَحِيحٍ، اجْتَهَدْتُّ فِي تَصْحِيحِهِ عَلَى مَنْهَج الأَئِمَة المُتَقَدِمِينَ، وَمُجَانِبَاً مَنْهَجَ المُتَأَخِرِينَ.
وَذَكَرْتُ عَقِبَ كَثِيرٍ مِنْ مَبَاحِثِهِ تَنْبِيهَاتٍ عَلَى أُمُورٍ لَا يَصُحُّ فِيهَا حَدِيثٌ، لِتَكُونَ قَوَاعِدَ فِي مَعْرِفَةِ مَا لَا يَصُلُحُ الاحْتِجَاج بِهِ.
وَوَسَمْتُهُ بـِ" بُلْغَةُ الْمُفْلِحِينَ "
فَاللهَ أَسْأَل أَنْ يُوَفِقََنِي لِتَصْنِيفِهِ، وَيَجْعَََلَه خَالِصَا لِوَجْهِهِ وَعَلَى مُرَادِهِ وَأَنْ يَتَقَبَلَهُ مِنِّي بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَيُنَفِّعَ بِهِ العِبَادَ.
