يا من تقرأ هذهِ المجموعة، إنَّك الآن في مدينةِ الألم، تتجوَّل في كلِّ ركنٍ منسيٍّ في زواياها، ومعَ كلِّ صفحةٍ تطويها، ستكتشفُ شارعاً جديداً تفوحُ من حجارتهِ أنَّاتُ الفاقدين، لا تكبتْ دموعكَ إذا صافحكَ وجعٌ ما يتسكَّعُ على رصيفٍ مبلَّلِ بالدَّمِ، ربِّت على كتفهِ، و أطفِئ معهُ أعقابَ سجائرِ الحزنِ بلحمِ اللَّامبالين، استمعْ لأنينهِ، لملمْ أذيالَ ثوبك، وصافحْ الوجعَ التَّالي، فسكَّانُ مدينةِ الألم اعتادوا على وداعِ من يحبُّون بلا أكفٍّ ملوِّحة.
