منحتني ألفة بداية جديدة ومنحتني بانا الحلم.. أتجول في شوارعها الآن التي صارت باللون الزمردي الفاتح..أتعرف على وجوه رأيتها في الروايات أو الأفلام ووجوه في القطار والشارع والجامعة..ووجوه في المترو والأتوبيس والمكتبات.. أقرأ الكتب الآن فأعيشها كالفيلم في بانا..كانت هذه هي تسليتي الوحيدة، والأمر الذي يجعلي قادرة على المواصلة.. وهناك في العالم الواقعي الذي يضيعني فيه شيئاً فشيء..كان الصراع يحتدم بين جذبه لي من بانا، وهروبي منه إليها.. كان عالمي لا يكف عن خذلاني فأذهب إلى بانا لتشفيني وتأخذ شيئاً مني مقابله. ظلت 4 سنوات أسافر كل يوم، أدرس، أقابل أشخاصاً كثيرين، أرسل كتاباتي من على ظهر التذاكر إلى الجرائد المختلفة التي أتابعها، فتنشر لي بعضها لأفرح، أذهب بها إلى بانا أريها للجميع هناك فيفرحون. كل هذه التفاصيل بين عالمين قد أربكتني..أنستني الكثير ولكني أذكر الرائحة..رائحة الألوان والورق في الكلية..رائحة الجرائد والتذاكر في القطار، رائحة القهوة في بوفيه المحطة..رائحة الشاي الأسود المختلط بالقرفة في بيتنا..رائحة غزل البنات في بانا..
