وصف كتاب أهل السنة في إيران تأليف (مركز المسبار للدراسات والبحوث)
تتناول هذه المجموعة من الدراسات التي قدمها عدد من الباحثين حال الأقلية السنية في إيران، والتي تتراوح تقديرات عددها ما بين 20 % إلى 25 % من مجموع الإيرانيين البالغ 70 مليون نسمة، هذه النسبة الكبيرة التي تتجاوز الـ 14 مليون، تكاد تتفق هذه الدراسات على أنها مهضومة الحقوق، رغم الشعار الذي رفعه الخميني عند إنشاء الجمهورية الإسلامية بعد ثورة 1979 م، حيث كان الشعار أن إيران ستكون بلداً إسلامياً، لا شيعياً أو سنياً، ولكن الدستور الذي تم وضعه نص على أن دين الدولة الإسلام ومذهبها هو المذهب الإمامي، ورغم أن الدستور نص على احترام حقوق الأقليات السنية، واليهودية، والمسحية والزرادشتية، إلا أن الدراسات تؤكد أن هذا لم يتم تطبيقه واقعاً، فهناك تضييق على السنة من ناحية الحقوق، ومن ناحية بناء المساجد والمدارس، ومن ناحية اعتقال ومحاكمة واغتيال علمائهم وأئمتهم، وهذا تكرار للعنة الأقليات حول العالم، التي تتفاوت بين هضم جزء من الحقوق لصالح الغالبية، وبين محاولة إبادة هذه الأقلية والتخلص منها، كما حدث في البوسنة ويحدث الآن في ميانمار.
