ذكرت النطفة الأمشاج مرة واحدة فى كتاب الله عز وجل فى الآية الثانية من سورة الإنسان ، ولم تذكر النطفة الأمشاج فى أى حديث من أحاديث النبى محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم فيما أعلم والله أعلم .
معنى نطفة أمشاج فى اللغة : الماء الصافي ، ويعبر بها عن ماء الرجل .
قال تعالى : ( ثم جعلنا ه نطفة في قرار مكين ) [ المؤمنون /13] ،
وقال : ( من نطفة أمشاج ) [ الإنسان /2] , وقال تعالى ( ألم يك نطفة من مني يمنى [ القيامة /37]
ويكنى عن اللؤلؤة بالنطفة
