“أمين الساطي” كاتب سوري، ولد بدمشق عام 1941، وذهب ودرس في أمريكا وتخرج من جامعة ولاية أوكلاهوما في عام 1965، وعمل مهندسا في ديترويت بالهندسة المدنية لمدة عامين، وبعدها عاد إلى سوريا وتوظف بوزارة الأشغال العامة، ثم أرسلته الوزارة بمنحة دراسية إلى مدينة روتردام بهولندا في عام 1971، وعاد بعدها في عام 1972 إلى وظيفته السابقة بوزارة الأشغال العامة، وفِي عام 1983 سافر إلى السعودية ليعمل في مكتب للاستشارات الهندسية وبقي موظفاً بنفس المكتب حتى عام 2016، وبعدها تقاعد عن العمل وسافر إلى دبي بالإمارات العربية المتحدة. وهو مؤلف كتاب “أوهام حقيقية”، ورواية “نبوءة على التلفاز”. وعضو في اتحاد كتاب وأدباء الإمارات.
