سْويِنْكا، وول ، شاعر ومسرحي وروائي وناقد نيجيري نال جائزة نوبل للآداب في عام 1986 ، في مسرحياته ورواياته قدم سوينكا نقدًا لاذعًا لمجتمعه جرد فيه ذلك المجتمع من رؤيته الرومانسية الأسطورية لنفسه وحاضره.
ورؤية سوينكا في ذلك رؤية مأساوية أدت به إلى الاصطدام بالأنظمة السياسية في نيجيريا فزج به السجن بين عامي 1967 و1969م.
وقد عبر عن تجربته في السجن بقصائد وأعمال نثرية.
و منها هذه الرواية .
أسهمت كتابات سوينكا النقدية في تعزيز ما يعرف بالدراسات ما بعد الاستعمارية، سعى فيها الأديب و المعارض والمناضل السياسي، المدافع بشراسة عن حقوق الإنسان أياً كان إلى «نحت» هوية حديثة لأفريقيا، أفريقيا الحروب والاضطراب والجوع، ولكن أيضاً أفريقيا الآمال والأحلام...
Book Description
وول سوينكا، الحائز على جائزة نوبل للآداب عام 1986، اشتهر أكثر، بكونه مسرحياً وشاعراً. ومع هذا، فقد منح جائزة "جوك كامبل نيوستيتسمان" بصورة رئيسة لقوة هذه الرواية "المفسرون".
ولد عام 1934 بـ "أبيوكوتا"، درس في المدارس النايجيرية وجامعة إيبادان قبل الذهاب إلى ليدز. بعد الجامعة اكتسب خبرة مهنية حين عمل قارئ مسرحيات مسرح رويال كورت بلندن. بعد عودته إلى نيجيريا عام 1960 قاد محاولات لتطوير المسرح النايجيري بينما كان يدرس ويقوم بأبحاث في جامعات إيفي، وإيبادان حتى أودع السجن بعد اندلاع الحرب الأهلية النايجيرية. وقد وصف تجاربه هذه في "مات الرجل". عرضت مسرحياته في إفريقيا، وأوروبا، وأميركا، ومنها "الطريق" و"الأسد والجوهرة". إلى جانب مسرحياته، نشر أربع مجموعات شعرية. روايته الثانية صدرت عام 1973.
ورواية "المفسرون" تقدم بانوراما معينة عن المجتمع النايجيري، من خلال خمسة مثقفين شبان، يحاولون أن يمنحوا حياتهم ومواهبهم معنى، ضمن ظروف عير مواتية، حيث الفساد، والوصولية، والمشكلات المعقدة لمجتمع ما بعد الاستقلال الذي لم يجد طريقه الأفضل بعد.
هل بإمكان "رواية النخبة" أن تتجاوز صيغتها لتدخل في مهمات أوسع؟ ربما كانت هذه المسألة إشكالية "المفسرون" وميزاتها في آن.
