ان الوجدان وعرف العقلاء بل الراسخ في نظام اللغة لا يسمح بالتعامل مع النصوص باعتبارها وحدات لفظية منفصلة مستقلة في عالمها، كما ان النصوص الدالة على العلم هي حاملة له وليست هي العلم، فالوسائطية والطريقية متأصلة وراسخة في النص منطوقا او مكتوبا. ولأجل هذا الحقائق والتي تترتب عليها أمور كثيرة بخصوص النص والخطاب والعلم والمعرفة الناتجة عنه كان من المهم بيان حقيقة علاقة العلم الذي يحمله النص مع النص نفسه وحقيقة المعرفة التي تحملها النصوص والتي تترسخ في العقول والصدور.
ان مصادر معارف الشريعة وان تميزت في الخارج كقرآن وسنة، الا انها حين الاعتقاد بها وعلمها تتحول الى معارف مجردة عن مصادرها منصهر متفاعلة فيما بينها فلا تميز للقرآني عن السني، بل كل جزء منها يكون شرعيا قرانسنيا. هذا الكتاب خصصته لبيان هذه الحقيقة وما يتعلق بها من حقائق أخرى.
