من الكتابات أو الآراء التي لا تبلى مع الزمن، ولا يذهب تأثيرها وأهميتها، ما سطره أو تحدث به الشيخ محمد أمين المصري- رحمه الله-؛ لأن هذه الكتابات كانت نابعة من القلب ومن هم متجدد حول مستقبل الأمة، وحول تربية الفرد. لم يكن الشيخ ممن يزوقون الكلام ولا يكثرون من التأليف، كان جل اهتمامه تربية المسلم تربية الأحرار، تربية القادة، وكان هذا واضحاً في محاضراته ودروسه وأحاديثه، ولقد كان شديد النقد لنفسه ولحاملي لواء الدعوة الإسلامية بأنهم ليسوا على المستوى المطلوب، وأنهم لم يقدموا كل ما عندهم في سبيلها، ولو قدموا لكانوا معذورين، وأما الإعتذار بالواقع وأنه ليس بالإمكان أفضل مما هو موجود، هذا الإعتذار بالواقع وأنه ليس بالإمكان أفضل مما هو موجود، هذا الإعتذار كان مرفوضاً عند الشيخ، والفكرة التي كانت تؤرقه هي: أين الرجال الذين يتحملون المسئولية، الذين بلغوا من الإخلاص والفهم والتضحية والثقافة مبلغاً يرفعوا به هذه الأجيال إلى المستوى المطلوب.
