هي رواية خيالية مقتبسة من الواقع ، تبدأ من المدينة المحصنة التي تدور رحى الحرب فيها ، فتظهر بلسم الذي تبحث عن أخيها الغائب الذي اختفى يوم الانفجار العظيم ، اليوم الذي أشعل فتيل الحرب . كما يظهر أبطالٌ أحرار من الممالك المجاورة ، يسعون لمساندة المدينة و النفير لأجلها ، و يسعى شباب المدينة الخضراء للاستفادة من الوحش الناري الذي وجدوه عبر خطةٍ محكمة ، ضد العدو الذي يستخدم هذه الوحوش في قصف المدينة المحصّنة . في الرواية شوقٌ و فقدٌ و أسرٌ و أمل ، فهل ستنجح محاولات الأحرار في الخيال حيث عزّ وجودهم في الواقع ؟ و هل ستنتهي الحرب على المدينة و يرجع الأخ الغائب ؟ و ما التحديات التي ستظهر في الرواية ؟
