وحيد هو بطل الرواية، وكان يؤمن بأن الحب هو أن تحمل كل وعود الأرض لتصل في النهاية إلي الأرض الموعودة في قلبك ، يؤمن بالحب وطنا وجنسية وجواز سفر بين مشاعره المختلفة والمتناقضة أحيانا .
وبعد أن فقد وحيد حب حياته سمية وأصبحت قصة في حياة رجل غيره ، يحاول أن يفعل المستحيل لتعود إليه، ولكنه لم يكن يعلم أبدا أن المستحيل نفسه أسهل من الذي مر به في تلك الرحلة الملعونة والمحاطة بالمخا وحيد هو بطل الرواية، وكان يؤمن بأن الحب هو أن تحمل كل وعود الأرض لتصل في النهاية إلي الأرض الموعودة في قلبك ، يؤمن بالحب وطنا وجنسية وجواز سفر بين مشاعره المختلفة والمتناقضة أحيانا .

و يحاول وحيد أن يفتح كل الأسرار وكل الطرق ،حتي إن كان الثمن حياته ليري سمية مرة أخري ، فيحاول إستخدام "المانترا"
ولكنه لم يكن يعلم ما الذي خططه له القدر ..
وتستطيع أن تحكم علي وحيد من خلال مذكراته ولكن لن تتمني أبدا أن تعيش ما مر به في تلك الصفحات التي يملؤها الحب والخوف والموت معا.
