وفي المجمل الكتاب يطرح بأسلوب فلسفي عميق أن الفكر الجمهوري هو تطبيق حقيقي فعلي لدولة القانون التي تصون حرية الفرد و تحقق العدالة الاجتماعية، ويتحدث عن الحرية الجمهورية وقيمتها والفضيلة الجمهورية، والوطنية الجمهورية وغيرها من النقاط الهامة لمن أراد أن يتعرف على هذا المصطلح منذ القدم بكل ما يحيط به من القيم.
