يفتح حسام عيونه ليجد صورة مشوشة لما حوله، فيغلق عيناه مرة أخرى ويفتحهما فتتضح الصورة بصعوبة رويدًا رويدًا؛ ليجد نفسه راقدًا على سرير بوسط غرفة ذات حوائط بيضاء وأمامه نافذة كبيرة مفتوح جزء من ستائرها البيضاء ، لتظهر خلفية جميلة للسماء بنجومها البراقة تصنع أجمل لوحات من صنع الخالق عز وجل.. نظر حسام حوله ليجد العديد من الأجهزة الطبية متصلة بكافة أعضاء جسده بأسلاك كثيرة وفي ظل حالة الإعياء الشديدة استسلم حسام مرة أخرى ليرقد في غيبوبة وتتغير الأجواء أمام عينيه لظلام دامس مرة أخري... وفي نفس الوقت تصدر أحد الأجهزة الطبية المتصلة بجسد حسام أزيرًا عاليًا وتدخل إحدى الممرضات مفزوعة لترى مؤشرات الحياة التي تظهر على الأجهزة الطبية المتصلة بجسد حسام الراقد في غيبوبته.
