رواية الطوفان الأزرق تأليف أحمد عبد السلام البقالى، وقف الدكتور هالين يتفرج من خلف الزجاج على العاصفة المتوحشة وهي تفترس مطار كيندي الدولي بنيويورك. إلى جانبه كان يقف زميله الياباني ورفيقه في السفر، الدكتور ناتاكا، يحملق في ظلام الليلة الغاضبة في عصبية لا يكاد يخفيها وجهه الشرقي الجامد ونظرته الباردة.
وشعر الدكتور هالين، دون أن يدري لماذا، بخوف من نوع غريب ينتقل إليه من زميله الياباني.ولمع البرق على وجه ناكاتا النحاسي فلاحظ هالين ارتعاش عصب رقيق تحت شفته السفلى، وآخر تحت عينه اليسرى.
وبعد الصمت الذي أعقب انفجارات الرعد المتداركة سمع صوت المطر المتهاطل على أرضية المطار
