باقة منقاة من الأحاديث الصحيحة الواردة عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في موضوع الصلاة تتتبَّع صلاة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم من التكبير إلى التسليم كأنها رأي عين، بعبارة وجيزة لا تعقيد فيها ولا غموض بعيدة عن الأقيسة والآراء، ولهذا جاءت الأحكام في هذا الكتاب بمثابة فقه النصوص ليس غير؛ حيث دوّن جامعه فيه جميع مسائل الصلاة التي تناولتها النصوص دون تلك الأبحاث التي دوّنها الفقهاء مستدلين عليها بالقياس أو بالاستحسان، وما إلى ذلك مما هو شأن المجلدات الكبار. إن الغاية من وضع هذا الكتاب هو تقريب فريضة الصلاة وما يتعلق بها من سنن وفرائض، وما يرتبط بها من أحكام تهم جمهرة المسلمين على اختلاف مشاربهم. ونحن إذ نقدم هذا الكتاب الصغير في حجمه المهم في موضوعه فإننا نسأل الله تبارك وتعالى أن ينفع به ، إنه هو السميع العليم.
