السيادة المطلقة ليس كتابًا عن السلطة كما نعرفها، بل تفكيك جذري لكل ما اعتُبر سلطة عبر التاريخ: الدين المؤسسي، الدولة، القانون، الأخلاق، وحتى العقل نفسه.
ينطلق الكتاب من فرضية بسيطة لكنها صادمة:
أن الإنسان لم يكن يومًا حرًا كما يعتقد، بل خاضعًا لمنظومات صُممت لتعيد تشكيل وعيه وتحدد له ما يجب أن يؤمن به، وكيف يفكر، وماذا يخاف.
