(كتاب الدعاء) هو بحث يورد فيه مؤلفه الصحيح المختار من أدعية النبي (صلى الله عليه وسلم) وأئمة أهل البيت عليهم السلام. يعتبر مؤلف الكتاب أن الدعاء هو العبادة والعبادة لا تكون صحيحة إلا إذا كانت العقيدة صحيحة، ولا تكون العقيدة صحيحة إلا بالمعرفة والعلم، ولهذا حثنا الله ورسوله على العلم.. لأجل ذلك جاء هذا الكتاب ليعرض للقارئ المسلم مختصر مبادئ العقيدة الإسلامية وطريقة معرفة الإسلام مع تصحيح للإعتقادات الخاطئة والشائعة بين الناس.
يتضمن الكتاب تحقيق في الأدعية المشهورة الموجودة في كتب الأدعية خاصة الكتب المتداولة بين الناس كالأذكار ومفاتيح الجنان وغيرها، مع اختيار أصحها، وتم تقسيم الكتاب إلى ثلاثة أجزاء، الجزء الأول خصصه المؤلف لمعرفة الإسلام وتصحيح العقائد الخاطئة وبيان منهج البحث والقواعد المعتمدة في التحقيق. والجزء الثاني يجمع الأدعية الصحيحة المحققة والمنقحة في ثمان وعشرين باباً. والجزء الأخير جاء في الأدعية الخاطئة الضعيفة ونقرأ فيه: تصحيح حديث الكساء، وبحثاً أخر بعنوان: "شريعتي"، والفرق بين الدعاء في التشيع العلوي والتشيع الصفوي...
