"كتاب الجنوز" هو كتاب شعر يخطه "عبد الله أحمد هوار" من العراق، بقصائد ثائرة بوجه من اعتبرهم طغاة وجلادين لشعوبهم، يرصد من خلاله وبواقعية خلاقة معاناة وهموم وطموحات المواطن العراقي على أرض الواقع المنظور، جاءت بلغة شعرية حزينة شبه بها العراق بإسماعيل الذبيح يقول في قصيدة بعنوان "أوزوريس"... "كان لإسماعيل أن يبني بيته في قصب المضارع... مثلما كان الماضي وما خططوه... يدخل ذلك البيت الذي سامروا ناره... بابه حنجرة فُضَّ ماؤها... فمن أي ذاكرةٍ نهضت... ومن أي قطب... قوافل ترضع من ثدي مومياء... وكان يسمع وجه النحر ينمو على ما يشاء... أهي دومة قتل؟... أطريق تضمه محفظةٌ جلاءٍ وصحونُ درك؟... أسجادة شك تلبس وجه فينيق؟... عودتني أن أسلم رأسي... فيما نحبُّ حولي حصانُ الموت...".
يضم الكتاب (27) قصيدة جاءت تحت عناوين مختلفة نذكر منها: عرس، أوزوريس، نبوءة، الكوفة، سجادة نار، السيد الأصفر وقفات... إلخ.
